Become a Partner (Monthly Giving)
What's a partner?
A partner is someone who financially supports C&SC on a regular basis through our Monthly Partner Program. Monthly Giving provides a steady and cost-effective source of income to C&SC which will allow us to budget for and fund more programs and in turn, help more children and families in Costa Mesa. We believe that no matter how much one gives, he/she equally contributes to C&SC and our mission.
What's in it for me?
As a partner of C&SC, you will receive monthly e-mail updates about our FAST programs, regular newsletters, and annual tax receipts for your contributions. And of course, you receive that good feeling of knowing that you're helping a small nonprofit make a big difference in the lives of individuals in our own community!
How do i join?
To start, you can call or send an email to info@c-sc.org to let us know that you're interested in signing up for the Monthly Partner Program. After we hear from you, we'll send you some welcome materials. OR, you can use the buttons (at right) to sign up for electronic monthly giving through Paypal. See the FAQs below the for more info.
As a partner:
- You choose the amount you'd like to give.
- You choose your start and stop date.
- You choose the schedule that works best for you.
- You choose the giving method you find most convenient.

Online Donations via Paypal
You can set up an account through Paypal that will automatically deduct your monthly gift (on the day of your choosing) and deposit it into C&SC's bank account. Paypal accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Learn more and sign up here >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Regular Mail
If you prefer, C&SC can mail to you monthly invoices as a reminder of your pledge. Payment of these invoices can be done either by check or credit card payment. Each month you will receive an email receipt for your donation for that period that can be used for tax purposes.
Paypal Giving FAQs
How do I sign up for monthly giving? To sign up, you can click on one of the above buttons (for the amount you would like to give each month). Paypal is a secure site. This site will ask you to enter your personal and billing information, as well as an e-mail address and a password of your choosing. Paypal will then send you an e-mail to activate your account. From that point on, Paypal will automatically deduct your donation from your account each month, on the same day that you first signed up. You can view your donations and change your preferences by logging onto www.paypal.com with your e-mail and password.
What day of the month will my donation be transferred from my account? You decide. If you want to give on every 1st day of the month, sign up for Paypal monthly giving on the 1st day of the month you would like to start giving. If you want to give on the 15th, sign up on the 15th, etc.
How do I change my giving amount? Paypal is not incredibly versatile, so to change your donation amount, you would actually need to cancel your current "subscription" and re-sign up to give a different amount.
How do I cancel my monthly giving? You can change or cancel your giving at any time. To do so, log onto www.paypal.com with your e-mail and password, then click on: my account > subscriptions > transaction details – then hit "cancel."
How can I give an amount that's different than the pre-set amounts on the above buttons? If you are just wanting to give a one-time donation, you can click on the "donate" button on our home page to donate any amount. But to set up a recurring donation of an amount not shown above, you'll need to send us an e-mail to the Director of Development, Allison Harvey at allyharvey@gmail.com We have to create separate buttons for every amount.
Can I be notified when each donation is received? Yes! Log onto www.paypal.com, then go to: my account > profile > notification. There, you can set the preferences for Paypal to send you an e-mail for each monthly payment. C&SC sends out year-end receipts each January for tax purposes.
How much of my donation goes to C&SC and how much goes to Paypal? Paypal charges a flat $0.30 charge for every single donation, plus 3%. So, if you give $50, $48.20 goes to C&SC. If you want every penny to go to us, you can mail in your donation. See more info near the top of this page. Thanks!

Do you want to give monthly without having to write checks?
You can set up a Paypal account to automatically deduct from your bank account each month. Your giving date will be the same day of the month that you sign up. (If you sign up on the 14th, Paypal will automatically transfer money to C&SC on the 14th of every month.)
